Krill are small shrimp-like critters that are collected in cold-water oceans. They are a relatively large form of Zooplankton. The Krill that we use are one of the larger species called Euphausia superba. The Krill are rinsed and then quick-frozen in our CO2 "flash-freezer". We pack whole Krill in the flat packs, and finely chopped Krill in the cube-packs.
